Our Business

• Currently, many customers understand that CFLs are more energy efficient and could help them lower their energy bills but have hesitated switching because disposal is inconvenient. 

• In the State of Florida, it is prohibited to dispose of CFLs in the regular trash.  Customers need to go to a Collection Center for disposal.    Pick- Up service will eliminate this inconvenience.

• The Pick -Up service will be complimentary for the customers. 

Most consumers don’t understand the difference between regular incandescent light bulbs and compact fluorescent light bulbs.

• incandescent light bulbs use electricity to heat a filament into a white-hot state that then produces light.  During this process, 90% of the energy used by these light bulbs is wasted. 
• Compact Fluorescent light bulbs use electricity to excite a gas inside a glass tube.  This gas becomes fluorescent and produces an ultraviolet light that looks invisible.  This UV light then reacts with mercury and a phosphorescent chemical compound inside the tube to create light.  Since CFL bulbs do not use heat to light, they need less energy for the same amount of light.
